Banana Island, Doha, Qatar
Along with the group BIMAK team, I experienced a ride going to Banana Island. Its an artificial, tiny, curved island created years ago where you can swim and enjoy jet skiing without worrying too much of the crowd. It was indeed very hot day but I had fun with the rest of the group, nonetheless, because of lots of beautiful subjects to capture in the middle of the sea-- the sunset, as always, is like a coin in the sky. With rays of gold that gives me an ancient feeling like those i see in the movies like " The Mummy". :)

"...The desert is so huge, and the horizon so distant,
that they make a person feel small,
and as if he should remain silent.”
The boy intuitively knew what he meant,
even without having ever set foot in the desert before.
Whenever he saw the sea, or a fire, he fell silent,
impressed by their elemental force.
I’ve learned things from the sheep,
and I’ve learned things from crystal, he thought.
I can learn something from the desert, too.
It seems old and wise”
