moon

Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to fly to the moon. I grew up thinking that the moon is my constant companion. Though it scares me sometimes, I still love those tiny moments that I could sit and stare outside my window, in my room, with the lights off and strawberry ice cream at hand.I wish someday I can have these hanging on my walls.

(During the partial eclipse)

(Minutes before the partial eclipse)
What a memento.

This was taken new years eve, 2009. I didn't know there was a slight lunar eclipse that time but i had a chance of a glance before sunrise and gave it a shot.
Thanks to my kit lens.

My rasta moon light somewhere in bulacan with my good friends.

Arabian night starts here. I had these shots as my first lunar eclipse in a foreign land. Unlike in the Philippines that you can only take a glimpse of something like this for a couple of minutes, this one lasted for hours until finished. I now have my personal and official documentation of lunar eclipse! yey for that!

I will not talk much about the following photos since its all just about stalking the moon like playing hide and seek with it. :)

I need to make an exemption for this one. This photo is my very first capture of the moon. I was with my mom in one of her seminars and we were in Quezon. I must say, nostalgia is when the cold breeze touches you while you can hear the waves and smell the sea air. Blissful as I recall it.

“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
~ Ansel Adams ~
